New Delhi | Guppy, New Delhi, For over a decade, the Delhi Literature Festival has stood among India’s most prestigious literary platforms, bringing together acclaimed authors, historians, journalists, diplomats, artists, and thought leaders from across the country and beyond. Continuing its legacy of fostering literary excellence while nurturing the next generation of voices, the Delhi Literature Festival collaborated with Ascensions Careers to present the inaugural edition of Voices of Tomorrow: Delhi’s first dedicated Youth Literature Festival.
Presented by Ascensions Careers, an organisation committed to empowering students through career guidance, mentorship, and opportunities beyond the classroom, Voices of Tomorrow was envisioned as a platform where young authors could celebrate their literary achievements in a professional festival setting. The event was curated and hosted by Yeshaya Grover, who conceptualised the festival to bridge aspiring student authors with one of India’s most respected literary institutions, creating a space where young voices could be recognised alongside the values of established literary culture.
Hosted at Guppy, New Delhi, the festival welcomed over 100 attendees, including students, parents, educators, readers, and members of the literary community. The afternoon featured book launches, author conversations, live readings, interactive panel discussions, and audience engagement, showcasing the remarkable creativity and diversity of India’s emerging writers.
Representing the Delhi Literature Festival, Mr. Ajay Sharma addressed the audience with an inspiring keynote, encouraging the young authors to continue writing fearlessly and reminding them that literature has the power to shape perspectives, preserve stories, and create lasting impact.
The event was also graced by Ms. Geeti Gupta and Mr. Nitish Gupta of Ascensions Careers, whose continued commitment to holistic student development extends beyond academic success to fostering creativity, leadership, and meaningful extracurricular achievement. Their presence reflected Ascensions’ vision of helping students build exceptional profiles by pursuing authentic passions and impactful projects.
The festival featured a diverse range of panel discussions that reflected both the breadth of the students’ writing and the issues that matter most to today’s youth. Sessions such as “Mythology and Morality” explored the reinterpretation of ancient narratives for modern
readers, while “The Human Mind on Paper” examined books centred on mental health, emotions, and poetry. Alongside these discussions, authors participated in live readings, audience Q&A sessions, and conversations about the inspiration behind their work.
One of the defining features of Voices of Tomorrow was the remarkable diversity of books showcased. The young authors presented works spanning mathematics, science, engineering, chemistry, mythology, historical fiction, travel, business, finance, poetry, self-reflection, chess strategy, mental health, and coming-of-age fiction—demonstrating that meaningful ideas can emerge from every field of study and every stage of life.
